Electrical Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
​

Provide engineering services necessary for the mill to complete its capital projects and engineering requests.
-
Perform as a project manager and execute complete capital and small projects.
-
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving maintenance problems with the mill’s electrical equipment and automation.
-
Assist in the updating and maintenance of the mill’s technical drawings.
-
Conduct periodic tours of the mill for equipment problems, conferring with production and maintenance personnel with regard to current jobs, making safety observations, and ensuring good housekeeping.
-
Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining the mill’s preventative and predictive maintenance program for areas of responsibility.
-
Assist with creating strategic visions for the capital investment needs of the assets.
-
Assist the Electrical Engineer Lead with Planning and Project Management of capital projects to improve process reliability, safety, and overall operation of the assets.
-
Use effective communication skills regarding technical issues across all plant operations.

Work with external technical service providers, construction management providers, and sourcing and supply vendor partners.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
-
Bachelor in Engineering preferred. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience may suffice.
-
Strong experience with electrical distribution equipment and automation.
-
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve project results within required timeframes.
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
-
Preferred experience working with external technical service providers.

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Ability to influence others and lead small teams
Mechanical Engineer

Process Engineer
BPM Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer, responsible for promoting safety, quality improvements, new product development, process optimization, and cost reduction at the manufacturing facility in Peshtigo, WI.
Key Responsibilities:

Be a role model for safety by promoting a safe work environment and engaging in safety initiatives
-
Provide technical assistance to the production areas
-
Support high-quality product standards and work to reduce product variability
-
Work with outside technical resources and suppliers to initiate cost reduction, quality enhancement, and process improvement trials
-
Build relationships with the hourly workforce and provide technical training on process improvements and changes that impact safety, quality, costs, operations, and efficiencies
-
Provide weekend on-call coverage for the paper mill on a rotating basis
-
Develop leadership skill-set and take on increasing levels of supervisor responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in a technical field relating to chemical engineering. Previous mill experience is a plus but not a requirement.
